I can't really agree with you on that one @preparedwombat. I will concede that obviously Trump doesn't want to have investigations into himself or his administration. It makes for bad optics when he's flailing as it is, but the leap to obstruction of justice is vast and very weak argument. I don't agree with the direction of the current administration, but I won't sacrifice objective truth here to support my position. Trumps tweet about H.Clinton obstruction of justice was spot on. We as a populace seem to have swapped objective truth for subjective truth. Dangerous times...

It's a double edged sword of deflection from the information released by wikileaks, (eg podesta/DNC emails) and slander against the threat of draining the swamp. Swamp level hasn't dropped much so they continue to pound this story because on the whole it's been very effective.

I agree! I think it is all a diversion from what really needs to be investigated. If they can keep the eyes on Trump, they can cover their tracks (perhaps) like what just happened to the evidence of Susan Rice unmasking and the surveillance of thousands of US citizens. There is a lot more.
