Sometimes I feel like we are living through an Orwellian Nightmare. I've assembled a list of Doublespeak terms to illustrate.

Department of Defense => Department of War

Patriot Act => Mass Surveillance Act

Conspiracy Theorist => Independent Journalist

Political Correctness => Censorship

National Security Agency (NSA) => National Spying Agency

Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) => Covert Intervention Agency

Collateral damage => Civilian casualties

Enhanced interrogation => Torturing prisoners

Foreign Aid => Subsidies to the Military-Industrial Complex (most foreign aid is required to be spent with US armament companies)

Anti-vaxxer => A liberty advocate that does not believe government should have the right to forcefully vaccinate

Inflation => Currency tax

“Moderate Rebels” (in Syria) => Al Q’aeda => “We have always been at war with Assad, and Al Q’aeda has always been our ally”

Truther => Somehow this has become an insult / slur? “In times of universal deceit.. telling the truth is a revolutionary act”

Federal Reserve => Not Federal, actually a cartel of private banks that fixes interest rates to benefit member banks. Has no reserves, although technically cannot go bankrupt since they can print money.

Quantitative Easing => Money printing that we are going to loan to the mega banks at 0% interest
