The Most Expensive Thing We Pay For Is Ignorance

When I was at the Prince Celebration 2017, Donald Trump had only been in office for a few months. The Revolution played "America," which is a straight up patriotic song that speaks of communism derogatorily. Wendy Melvoin, while introducing the song, eagerly encouraged the audience to pay particularly close attention to the words "especially now," she emphasized, implying somehow that Trump and the Republicans were the problem. Something tells me that Sheila E. feels the same way. Could it be that they are so insulated that their political opinions are not just wrong, but 180 degrees out of wack?

Let us define terms real quick. Communism is a political theory derived from Karl Marx, advocating class war and leading to a society in which all property is publicly owned and each person works and is paid according to their abilities and needs. Socialism is a political and economic theory of social organization that advocates that the means of production, distribution, and exchange should be owned or regulated by the community as a whole. Republicans are supportive of capitalism, Christianity, representative government, etc. It is the Democrats who are communistic (Jane Fonda), socialistic (Bernie Sanders), and are teaching our kids pro commy propaganda while besmirching every and anything pro American. It is the Democrat party that is for big government and high taxes.

My point is that I think there are a lot of unsuspecting people out there who are so ignorant and ill-informed that they do not even realize that what they believe is the EXACT OPPOSITE of what the reality is. They think the Democrat party is for the 'little guy,' for minorities, for the down-trodden, etc. Somehow, they cannot see that the liberal Democrat party could not care less about the poor or middle class, could not care less about urban blacks, or their Jewish constituency, etc. The Democrat party has been taken hostage by a bunch of money grubbing, power hungry, anti-American elitists who worship at the altar of Saul Alinsky.

The amount of treasure wasted (tax dollars), damage caused (unsecured border & welfare entitlements), and people hurt (illegitimacy rate, dependence) by ignorance is astonishing. We cannot rely on the disaster that is our education system (whether K - 12 or higher), so it is up to us to not only open our minds and inform ourselves, but to help inform and awaken others.

Turn people on to The Drudge Report, The Rubin Report, Joe Rogan's podcast, Ben Shapiro's podcast, and pundits like Adam Carolla and Dennis Miller for a different take on things. Rush Limbaugh is as misunderstood as he is maligned so give him a try as well. This will lead to enlightenment for those who are slaves to the left wing establishment that has kept them ignorant until now.
