Buzzfeed oh Buzzfeed. The pinnacle of terrible and biased "news" is back at it again with their whimsical approach to journalism by blaming literally anything that happens on right-wing groups and any sort of media that is not as far left as they are.

I'm not the only person with this opinion about Buzzfeed
In this particular article that once again, lacks any sort of journalistic integrity as is expected from Buzzfeed, author Ryan Brooks gets it all wrong when he completely ignores any information that doesn't fit into his and his failing media conglomerate's political leanings - which remains what it has always been at really far to the left.

In Ryan Brooks' article, which is completely devoid of anything other than his own opinions and screenshots and Tweets from other people, he makes the completely absurd and completely expected-from-Buzzfeed conclusion that all of this violence was because of right-wing groups and right-wing media.
He totally glances over the fact that one of the main, if not the only reason why there was any violence to begin with, is because Antifa agitators turned up to counter-protest.
This all began when a video went viral of a woman complaining to Wi Spa staff that a transgender person was walking around the women's steam-room area naked, complete with trigs and berries exposed, around a child. Ryan starts out the article with this headline: "40 People Were Arrested After A Right-Wing Media-Fueled Protest Against A Trans Woman Using A Spa" then goes on to suggest that none of this would have happened if the "right wing media" hadn't made the video go viral. Then Ryan proceeds to include the same video that he is decrying as being something that shouldn't have been circulated, in his own article.

In the videos contained on this "journalist's" own article it is evident to anyone with brain function that the violence was actually committed by the very people that Ryan Brooks is attempting to defend.
Also in his article he highlights completely irrelevant points about the situations such as the fact that some people were holding signs not related to the spa incident and also that one person was wearing a Trump shirt. They really are struggling to find ways to attack Trump over at BuzzFeed these days.

I don't know much about Ryan Brooks other than the fact that he is based out of New York and the thing he is covering in his article happened in Los Angeles, which as you might be aware, isn't exactly next door to New York. With a quick glance at Brooks' past articles it becomes evident pretty quickly what his primary focus is in his job... and it isn't journalism.
The fact that he wasn't actually there and that any information that indicates that this might be even a teensy bit the fault of the counter-protestors is missing from said article... is totally expected from Buzzfeed. What is so amusing to me about this entire thing is that the whole reason why he wrote the article was to try to blame conservative news outlets for this violence because they shouldn't have circulated a video saying about the violence: "This hasn't stopped right-wing commentators from sharing the video, fueling outrage online"... and then he proceeds to share the exact same video in the SAME article.
Buzzfeed has been dumb for a long time (perhaps forever) and sadly, this preaching to the choir and gaslighting is probably a big part of the reason why they ever got an audience to begin with. I suppose they serve a purpose of being an echo chamber for people with "far-left" ideals. In the meantime, I sincerely hope that no one looks to them for any real information because you'd have to look pretty hard to find anything other than extremely biased op-ed pieces anywhere on that site.
You sir, are a joke to journalism. You are part of the reason why no one trusts the media anymore. Maybe try putting actual facts in articles instead of simply attempting to point the finger at anyone that isn't on your side and eliminating any information that points in the other direction? Anyone that watches any of those videos can clearly see where the violence came from, and it wasn't from what you call the "far-right" protesters.
