Trump is breaking the law by having customers at his hotels

I'm not a fan or a hater of the current President of the United States, but it is pretty obvious what side the media is on in their constant attack on the man. If he isn't playing golf too much (which every president has done since golf was invented most likely,) or eating the "wrong" food by enjoying Mc Donalds, he must be doing something illegal by having a hotel in a good location, right?

In a recent dumb article from none other than Yahoo news (who you can always count on to do at least one dumb article per day,) reporter Alexander Nazaryan digs into the horrible underbelly about how the Trump hotel in Washington D.C. frequently houses visiting foreign dignitaries and diplomats, as well as Republican lawmakers.

He is aghast about how the Federal government "doesn't know how much foreign money is spent there." Sounds pretty horrible right? Well, maybe that is because the Federal government doesn't know how much foreign money is spent at any hotel in D.C. or likely anywhere in the world. But let's not let that get in the way of a damning story, right?

If you were to merely show me the above picture and ask "do you think this guy likes Trump or is he a "not my president" kind of person... I know exactly what my answer would be.

If you dig through the articles and even the book he has written (which didn't sell well) you will find that his content is almost exclusively about Trump, and always in a negative light. But I am sure there is no biased slant on any of his articles... he is a journalist after all and we all know how they have impeccable ethics.

The property in question is 2 blocks from the White House and prior to the man winning in 2016 the hotel was already a hot spot for visiting diplomats to stay, simply because of the great location. But now it is a problem. The article highlights how almost no Democrats have stayed at the hotel but I think anyone can see why that would be. Imagine the media shit-show if someone with a (D) next to their name was staying at a Trump hotel?

The fact of the matter is that businesses are not required to divulge the money that was spent based on the nationality, and if there is a rise in foreign spending at this hotel I believe it would be coincidental at best. There is no indication that anything illegal has been done but the fact that ONE Federal government employee says that she "doesn't track foreign spending at Trump Hotel" it is implied in the article that they don't track that sort of spending at only this hotel. No, they don't track such a thing at any hotel and the author goes to great lengths to not tell you that.

This article is dumb because of selective information and intentionally misleading wording but mostly because it is, to quote Trump himself, a....
