I don't see a need to rewrite already well-written articles on this. If it pans out, it is another blow to an institution that has a less than stellar record with children as of late. I would like to know when the discussion will change from "we just need the right level or holiness to fix this mess" to a thoughful discussion about how institutions that are trusted blindly will eventually start doing awful things to you. It is one thing to be a hospital for express purpose of making money (e.g., Hospital Corporation of America), it is another to play charity while then willingly providing substandard care to make a better margin.
