“A member of UKIP’s youth wing has been labelled “far right” by his school and reported to the Government’s PREVENT de-radicalisation programme, which is designed to stop “young people from being drawn into terrorism”.
I feel like things like this are getting out of control as far as being Politically Correct and not being able to say hurtful things. While I certainly don’t endorse being a bigot or anything you can’t rush to labeling a kid a potential radical over crass jokes. Really I think my concern is that lately we seem to be focusing an awful lot on people not being able to say things which are deemed offensive. But to me that goes down a slippery slope bordering on thought crimes. It seems like Western countries such as the US and France are so busy focusing on things like this we’re ignoring some of the more obvious problems such as working with immigrants we’re bringing in to help prevent youths from these groups to become radicalized by extremists. I’m mixed myself. I have friends who are bi, gay, trans and everything else. While in this case I do feel this kid should have been disciplined this seems like it’s going to far. Curios to get other peoples thoughts on this and if it’s appropriate or taking things a step to far.

This world fucks!

Geeez my whole elementary school would have been reported LOL!

That's kind of how I felt when I read this article. Seems a bit on the extreme side for making a joke.
