The govermemnt should fear the people, not the other way around

Fear might be a little strong a word but it is important for the government to respect the people. That is the problem which we have today. Why do people not take part in politics?

1: Life is to busy.
2: They don't care.
3: What they say doesn't make a difference.

All three are valid reasons. Even now the loudest of us feel like what we do, say, think, will not change anything. We all can see world governments attempt to tighten their grip on things. Cryptocurrency is one excellent example since we are all such big fans. While fear doesn't need to be the answer, respect does. We need to remind ourselves every day that the government works for us the people. We need to take part in things, be a part of the solution. Even if that is as simple as using a cool named cryptocurrency.

Those words above show how we the people have control. If the government doesn't serve the people we have (Or should have) the power to get people in that will serve us. That is a important thing to remember. Even though politics is rigged now. All politicians are secretly best buddies and Dem/Rep means the same thing policy wise. We can still impact a change. Even if we don't mean to all of us are making a change right now. I hope over time we can work to get more power back to the people.

I suggest that we do our part to continue to educate people. When I say educate I do mean just that. Please don't preach to your friends. It is nice for everyone to tell you over and over again that Steem won't work. But be polite and educate them. Educate them on why something like Steem is part of the road to more financial freedom. Free of government inflation and large banks.

And be patient. If people disagree or they have no interest than let them be. No one wants us to try and force them to our way of thinking. Everyday cryptos give us a way to get back more control over our financial power.

Remember to take time out of your day to pay attention to things. Such as what is going on in the world around us. Do your part to make a small difference by educating one person at a times. Make sure you genuinely care about something. As always, steem on.
