Money in politics. Election fraud. Corrupt Politicians. Is it time to start thinking/talking about Direct Democracy? Would it be better to reform our Representative system? Or would it be better if citizens could just vote on laws themselves instead of electing representatives to vote for them?
Your help is needed developing DirectDemocracyUS.org, a website designed to help people imagine how a Direct Democracy might work. The overall aim of the site is to promote true democracy and to take political control away from elite political groups, such as political parties, elected politicians, corporate lobbyists, and unions.
The site is currently being developed. We plan to launch January 1, 2017. Give us your feedback by filling out the surveys on each post. And/or use the contact form on the about page to make suggestions or to volunteer your time to help develop the site. We are looking for experts to write/rewrite posts on their areas of interest.
