A recent Harvard-Harris Poll survey showed about 57 percent of voters think the legalization of marijuana on a federal level would make society better, while 69 percent stated they wouldn't be botherd by cannabis being legal in their state. At the same time only 14 percent of voters said pot should be completely illegal.
According to another poll from April 2017, which was conducted by CBS News, more than 60 percent of american citizen are in favor of legalizing marijuana use.
Overall we can see a clear trend towards a more liberal opinion on Cannabis in the United States, but unfortunately it still may take a while until Marijuana is fully legalized. Especially under the Donald Trump administration.
However after time passes I'm a 100 percent sure that pot will eventually be legal in a big part of the world.
