It wasnt "The Left" who knocked down any statues, it was a group of angry and incited protesters.
Generalizations like this are beginning to cause a bizarre rift. When people who consider themselves liberal (or vice versa) see other liberals behaving in ways they don't agree with, they immediately think "I don't want to be a part of this!". Instead of approaching rationally and viewing the issue as it is (containing extreme elements). This results in the attribution of the generalization to the entire liberal side of the political spectrum. Then we wonder why the world suddenly looks so bleak.
Youll never gain an accurate understanding of anything while attempting to identify and label based on generalizations
