A Reinstatement

Yes, I'm returning to Steemit. To put it bluntly, I was quite sick and tired a while ago of the drama - there were too much nonsense and too many pundits and peacocks. And bots. I guess much of the same still exists, but we can ignore certain tendencies and focus on what is important and lasting.

New people have joined recently. It would be pointless for me to delve further into the above. The history is open for all to see. My present approach and motivation is entirely different anyhow.

The money aspects were not, and are not, what drives me. I recognize the importance of blockchains, that's about it. We are in a situation with a.o. blatant Censorship and Shadowbanning, coupled with extensive political developments that should be a concern to every thinking person. It is particularly vital that Steemit has integrated platforms as resistant alternatives to everything like Google and Twitter. We don't depend on those. Many are already leaving such venues.

The scope here today is almost exponentially more varied, with an enormous potential, and I prefer getting to know real, sincere people, avoiding hypes. My intention is initially and primarily to respond to kindreds through comments, though I will write as well.

As stated earlier, I deleted the duplicate of the original verification post from my main blog. Instead, I have made a dedicated reference here.

This is a quick note only to get things going again. I'm focused and dedicated, albeit a tad aware of Steemit's somewhat transient nature.

I appreciate what Steemit has become - and may soon be. Quite a few among you didn't falter and chose to stay all the way through the fog. Wisely.

Well said Jan, you sound Dutch.

:) Dankjewel! -- The Dutch language has always fascinated me, and I've been to Holland several times. I grew up on the southernmost tip of Norway in small town Farsund, which historically has unique seafaring ties across the ocean to 'Kontinentet'. The architecture, names (!) and objects overall along our 'sørvestlige' coastline show how close those 'Nederlandske' ties are, even now. -- Dutch and Nordic, especially dialects, are similar in many ways, and with a flair for languages we can both read and (mostly) understand each other. Due to my craft, I often read Dutch material.

Your profile interests have similarities to my own. Let's talk more along the road! - I've barely started again, and there is just not enough time in a day. And, the voting system here is yet a bit unclear to me, too. -- Men en spennende reise, med en god utsikt! Vinden bringer oss dit!

'Magic' caught my eye. 'Maken' is a part of our Reality which I (f)actually have met. Long story. And then conjuring: As a former amateur magician I can still apply basic legerdemain principles and can clearly see how such are being performed daily on the World stage...

Du er allerede på listen over tilhenger! ;) Not been to Norway yet, closest was Denmark. I know my classic pass or elmsley count as an amateur as well but I'm much more interested in the methods used and the psychology behind the trick. The world is a stage and life is just a ride.

Agree! Methods! Ways of perception. Misdirection. Building 7...

I like the variety of your posts, and your perspectives. ;)

Just finished my article about hypnosis and the Robert Kennedy case. I'm sure Sirhan Sirhan was hypnotized.
