TIME Pushes Conspiracy Theory that Russia's Influencing U.S. Elections

The DNC already undermined faith in the U.S. election by colluding with the media to spin the narrative in favor of Clinton during the primaries and by infiltrating Sanders' campaign, breaking its own bylaws that profess neutrality. That's the entire reason Debbie Wasserman Schultz resigned as the DNC chair, lest we forget.

"Don't fall for it," is right. There's zero evidence Putin is involved in our election process in any way. The article is propaganda — a conspiracy theory to alarm our Cold War nerves and serve as a distraction. U.S. intelligence can't determine the identify of Guccifer 2.0 (the DNC and Clinton hacker), much less who he or she or they work for, if anyone. Yet we have plenty of evidence the DNC influenced their own primaries, which was in the contents of the leaks that they clearly don't want the media or its readers to focus on.

Notice the article doesn't name a source for its quote. It's intentionally ambiguous. The quote originated from this New York Times article, which also doesn't name a source. But even they had to maintain some semblance of journalistic integrity and admit there is no evidence of Russians tampering with the election system or doing anything the U.S. itself doesn't regularly do:

[I]ntelligence officials have cautioned that they are uncertain whether the electronic break-in at the committee’s computer systems was intended as fairly routine cyberespionage — of the kind the United States also conducts around the world — or as part of an effort to manipulate the 2016 presidential election.
