Should people be allowed to sell their own kidneys (or other organs)?

It is theirs isn't it? people should have the right to do whatever they wish with their organ.

The two factors involved doesn't cause any harm to the society

The organ being sold saves someone else and is useful to that person in lack

The person selling the organ who probably is in need of money gets money without involving in illegal stuff

it's a win win if you ask me so I don't see any reason it should be stoped.

Well said Jean... a win win for both party all things being equal.
But let us ponder on this:
For a living donor; of what benefit is the sales of his/her organ to the society at large if it will put you later in trouble.

My take is this, there should be a check and balance means for the sales of organs of a living person. He/she should be be thoughly checked and fit especially for the sales of organs in pairs. By so doing we would be able to avoid the issue of saving one to lose another.

Sales of organs by living person medically certified to die is more of societal benefit and should be allowed if not encouraged.
