all of these social media things are really more designed to occupy our time so they can mine information about us. shoot, even steemit does this to us. make an account for free and they need my email and phone number? Yeah right. I used the anonymous service to create this name.
Also, you can totally get around steemits free account sign up by making a brand new email and using Google Voice. Google Voice lets you get free phone numbers to use, it accepts text messages, phone calls, voicemail, and it emails it all to you or you can log in to google voice app and see it all there.
If someone wanted to, they could make thousands of free steemit accounts and they would never know. It is a joke they are trying to keep track of us here by paying us for our info to sign up.

That was very well said, most of the people don't seem to realize that what what we do to ourselves is much worse than what the state has done to us. Strange as this may seem (disclaimer: I don't have any use for Centralized Authority) the U.S. citizen that is governed at gun point has many more guns pointed back at those "governing". So right. Most of humanity lives in cycles. Wake up, go to your job, sleep and repeat. Ofcourse with the fun things in between when we have free time. I can't say how many, but there are quite a lot of voluntaryist/anarchist that continue to live in the US for whatever reason and just get by as well as we can. All it would take is the right conditions for them come out in the open. I think it's just a matter of the probability of negative consequences. Once that's low enough, we no longer follow the dictates of tyrants. I'm somewhat hopeful that such a situation could arise in the near future as the Government looses more and more credibility.
