A law to make business owners unable to fire fast-food employees at will? What a horrible idea!
The government can pile on laws on top of laws to deny economic reality, but like gravity, economic reality will win out in the end. Once the cost of doing business gets too high, businesses will close and/or move to less restrictive regions, and those jobs will disappear with them. Meddling with the free market helps no one.
Wow. We here in the Seattle area have the mandated $15 min wage. It has skyrocketed food prices. Similar issue similar outcome.
