This gentleman is our president

I think of him as;

Brave

Smart

Bold

Intuitive

Thinker

Handsome

Humorous

Adventurous

Self-opinionated

Sarcastic

Orator

And a careful planner (He started a war with only 27 guns and won it five years later)

What buffles me is why a man with such strengths and knowledge could spoil our country, he's now 75 years old but don't want to leave power to others,I love my Prsedent though I don't agree with everything that has been done since he has been in office,

He's too old

At the moment, it is a bit tense. The ruling party (NRM) is attempting to amend Article 102(b) of the constitution that provides for the presidential age limit at 75.
The move is meant to enable the incumbent, who turns 75 years soon, to be eligible to stand again as president come 2021. This has created some tension as many Ugandans are rejecting this move. As a result, Police is on high alert to stop any forms of demonstrations should they occur. We are still watching the space.

He doesn't want to leave power.

Let's face the fact. No one wants to leave power, not even European royalties or political leaders.

The main challenge we have in Africa is lack of adequate organization that can smack the leaders back into shape, when their personal desires overrides national policy. I personally don't care who is leading and for how Long he/she have been on seat, if it is acceptable by the Nation. What matters to the citizens is how well is the leader doing in office for the good of the nation and citizens.
