Once again, the Caraqueños again felt chaos and social uncertainty and this time for an Electrical Fault, which left thousands of Venezuelans without light for more than 8 hours. From 3pm in the afternoon we began to observe many people walking along main avenues and streets of Caracas from Plaza Venezuela, Sabana Grande Boulevard, Francisco Fajardo Avenue from Chacaito, Chacao, Altamira, Miranda, Los Dos Caminos, Los Cortijos, La California, Petare and Palo Verde; This is because the service of the Metro de Caracas was also affected and unfortunately joined this situation, public transport is not enough to offer an optimal service and people tend to move to their homes walking, seriously congesting vehicular traffic.

It is impressive to see so many people walking in distress and alarmed at any event of insecurity that usually occurs in these circumstances. At 8:30 pm you could still see people walking through the streets, in total darkness and exposing their safety to any thief or person with antisocial behavior. I had to walk from Chacaito Subway Station to Miranda Station and I did not see a police presence.

More than 10 Metro stations in Caracas were in this situation. When people noticed that the fault extended for more than 4 hours, they began to go out into the street.

When I got home, I was shocked again because the Government blamed the Opposition for a supposed sabotage. When we all know that the electrical faults that occur eventually are generated because we do not have enough platform to offer an optimal service to all Venezuelans

The government wipes its hands and takes advantage of the situation to order the Minister of Energy to talk about what happened.
