In a news report today president Trump reduced his wall building promise to 700-900 mile of transparent wall.
President Trump significantly scaled back one of his key campaign pledges while en route to France, telling reporters there was no need to build a wall along the full length of the US–Mexico border.
Trump estimated the US would only need to build a wall on 700 to 900 miles of the border, and said the structure would need to be transparent so that people could avoid large sacks of drugs being thrown over from the other side.
This is my suggestion on how to build such a wall:
Trump builds a wall of recycled rubber bands across the Border with Mexico.

Although Trump says the reason for making the wall transparent is due to drug trafficking concerns (which is valid), I think the fact that residents from both sides of the border will be able to see the beauty of the other side of the border is also a nice thing to have. A wall can be an unfriendly thing when it can't be seen through. I hope these 2 countries can still enjoy each other's view even after the wall has been fully built.
