True Deception

Long ago it was easy for the "church" to point a finger at any one and accuse individuals of witch craft or being a hieratic and have them burnt to a crisp, we all heard about the Knight's Templar, the military arm which became a lethal weapon that drove scientists under ground and into hiding, thus the illuminati & Free Masons became synonymous with devil worship and the occult (that notion hasn't faded off generations down).

Also ages ago voyagers believed the World was circular or flat, and it sure took a staggering amount of convincing to shake that notion. Astronomy had it's fair share of myths and myth busters playing terminator and John Connor with each other and till date its a thug of war still.

You see people always hold onto what they believe in, and that has been used as a weapon for great propaganda, the World has evolved to be a bit more enlightened and far harder to fool these days but occasionally the system always wins and gets away with it (Gaddafi can testify to that). 9/11 is a chapter globally known as a reference on the subject of terror but the question of who was really responsible still lingers (Bush or Ladin) your guess is as good as mine.

My observation has always been that a belief system is a vulnerability and an exploitable one given the right probe and occasionally the right squeeze. Gullibility is always subject to ones level of knowledge and since it's always easy to sway a general population the ratio of the wise vs the gullible is always in favor of "team gullible". So that is where deception as an art is always fully effective. Let's paint a picture we can all admire. The elite few gathered in a secrete location and brain storming on ideas to either cause wars, mass genocide through biological warfare or spread propaganda to push the tide in their favor, generally just for their political or financial ambitions and on occasion, religious obligations. So they reach a logical way to achieve that and like an ant colony all agents get to work and start a chain of events that lead to set goals being achieved and someone or some people take who fit the trouble maker profile take the blame. Well not always but most times, yes they win, that's a great painting don't you think.

In all fairness we really can't blame them neither can we blame ourselves. It's the way the world works, truth be told it's what keeps it in balance, the necessary evil. Still don't you just hate when you hear someone say "I saw it on the news so it's true" yeah so do I, I just want to give them some good old "snap out of it" smack. How else would the general public be fooled if not through the media outlets? Yes your favorite news channels is in on it too, I don't think politicians would effectively go from door to do spreading their brand of lies, I mean we have our inbuilt lie detector so good luck to them selling us their boy scout cookies.

I really hate coming off like I'm ranting or I'm some crazy conspiracy theorist, so I'd go straight to the point about all of this. A saying goes 'believe non of what you hear and half of what you see', truth be told that's a really good one I abide by. I love scrutiny and I'm sure you should as well. The 'what if' question should always be at the back of your mind when you hear or see something that sounds too good to be true and not just a 'default nod' because it seems like a 'reliable source'. Giving the benefit of a doubt also is a grown and intelligent thing to do. We owe it to ourselves and our society.

So next time you hear something always think about other possibilities till you reach a conclusion that it is at least 60% true before you buy into it. That way you'd be saving yourself a lot of disappointment. Good luck everyone.

Thanks for sharing. No, you don't sound crazy and that our hunger for the truth makes us who we are. The truth is an ilusive flutter in the wind, if you ask me. Gullibility indeed, since 'people hold on to what they believe'. These "religions" that mind over people's ignorance should also be a little bit responsible. Not just ask money all the time. lol

On a serious note, I agree with everything that you said. It's just sad how the majority of the people in the world are marinated by lies that are very well crafted by deception and time.

Thank you for taking the time out to read and comment honestly you gave me contents i should have added lol. I like your take. Thanks once again i do appreciate.

The religion and the fight against terrorism are the pretext that the regimes result from their greed and injustice to the peoples ... good words ... and its history about the painful reality we are living
