From what I see, Trump has an issue with Mexicans coming to America illegally. I have a solution that doesn't involve the building of a wall along the US/Mexican border. The problem with a wall is that it doesn't keep criminals out. It only keeps the good, hard working soon to be Americans out.
Mexicans are intelligent, hardworking morally sound people who want nothing more than a good life for their family, which is ultimately the american dream. Me for one, I would love to be able to call every Mexican my fellow American.
With all the illegal immigration it shows me that our current system is broken. we have good hard working soon to be citizens coming in through the window, so to speak. So we need to make the front door bigger ! We are a country that is made up of immigrants. Our entire populous is all immigrants.
All this tells me that Mexicans want to be Americans, so we should make that easier for them by introducing a new policy.
Annex Mexico.
Those that want to be Americans, wont have to try very hard to be American. In fact, they won't have to try at all. After all, that is the American way.
By annexing Mexico into the United States, we will end immigration problems with Mexico because all Mexicans will be granted US Citizenship.
Granted I know all this may cause other problems, i.e. crime, education. It also grants new forms of tourism, new places to live. It grants so many new bonuses by mixing both our cultures together in love and understanding.
I know some people have different ideas by what this means. by no means is this an occupation of the country, but simply making it the 51st state.
In conclusion I'd love to see our two countries and cultures merge together to strengthen ourselves as one.
