Syrian Conflict: Political Games and Propaganda to Eradicate Humanity

The turbulent civil war in Syria has entered its eighth year, where various diplomatic efforts to achieve peace continue to be carried out but have not created meaningful things for the Syrian people who continue to receive treatments outside the limits of human values. The conflict in Syria is an attempt by the rebels who want to overthrow the regime of Bashar Al-Assaad which is considered not to give freedom of politics and is semi-dictatorial, but not only these two forces become actors in the conflict in the Syrian state. Some foreign parties who have their own political interests also play their role in the conflict in Syria, these parties are the United States, Russia, Iran, Iraq, Kurds, Turkey, Israel and the NATO alliance. The involvement of these parties became one of the factors that caused the conflict to occur for so long and never found a solution to peace. In essence, the beginning of the Syrian war became more than just a conflict between the rebels and the regime of Bashar Al-Assaad. Military, financial and political support from external parties to the opposition and the government has made the Syrian state a proxy battleground. The prolonged conflict involving various internal and external parties that occurred in Syria did not escape the proliferation of all forms of propaganda circulating through various media. The Assaad regime assisted by Russia and Iran said that rebel opposition groups assisted by the United States supported the militant movement carried out by the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS). One other misconception in the conflict in Syria is the sectarian issue, the propaganda states that the Assaad president from the Alawite tribe in Syria supported by Iranian Shiites is assisted by Russia (Orthodox Christians) and the Druze minority, Christians fighting Sunni extremists. Independent journalist from Canada, Eva Bartlett said that in Syria there was never the name 'Revolution', there was only a war that had been drafted by foreign powers which had their own interests. The civil war that has occurred since 2011 has killed more than 470,000 people according to the Syrian Center for Policy Research (SCPR) and about 400,000 civilians still trapped in rebel eastern Ghouta areas, almost the majority of victims of this civil war are women and children. The UN refugee agency, the UNHCR, says that more than five million people have fled Syria and at least 12 million or half of the Syrian population have been displaced by the conflict. This exodus of refugees is the largest in recent years and places great pressure on a number of countries including Lebanon, Jordan and Turkey. A number of other countries also accept refugees from Syria. At least about 10% of the total number of refugees requested asylum in several countries in Europe and caused a big debate about who should be responsible.
When countries around Europe, America and Africa receive and provide protection to refugees who have fled from the conflict in Syria, things that are inversely occur in countries in the Middle East that have close proximity to the Syrian state. The governments of countries in the Middle East argue that they do not accept refugees into their territory due to fears of geopolitical influences that might occur. They say that extremist understandings are very vulnerable to entering through refugees and are feared to have a negative impact on the government and the lives of the people in their country. Living amidst the turmoil of the conflict and various cruelty outside the borders of humanity committed to the population in the Syrian country as if it was not enough for the list of suffering of Syrian people, they must feel the darkness of life in the midst of conflicts with Middle East countries condemnation from European countries that blamed them for various acts of terrorism that occurred in Europe lately. Live on the run and there is no definite destination for protection and welfare. all of this is about humanity eroded by the selfishness of world leaders who have the thought of sacrificing innocent lives for mere political and power purposes.
it's our responsibility as a human to keep believe in humanity and stands for it! This planet needs us to fight for peace.
