Almost a week ago, a doctored video of Nancy Pelosi went viral. The idea of the video was simple, to make Nancy look like a drunk who can barely not slur. I honestly saw it, didn't think much of it, but I quickly realized the outrage machine was going to come out swinging, and it sure did.

To me partisan politics is not only stupid, but more importantly 100% toxic. The idea being that if one of "ours" is attacked with a meme, we must join forces and fight back because "country" is so irrational, I can't believe this is precisely what happened, and now a jokester is paying a steep price.
Yes, the man who doctored the video has been doxxed and as you might imagine the consequences of thi won't be mild. This man is probably going to lose his job, and who knows what other social repercussions he will pay because "he's a bad person", a statement that I can't even say with enough sarcasm.
The Daily Beast has released on only his picture, but a lot of personal details of this man, and yes, they are calling it a win, a win in the name of justice. I on the other hand find it incredibly disgraceful. What's even more worrying is that Facebook "cooperated" with the "investigator" and please, note the air quotes.

Imagine when blockchain gets adoption and things like that become immutable! Maybe it will get sone thinking twice of their approach on social media.
