As someone who has no care for where government's draw imaginary lines on a map (borders), I see little difference from state to state generally speaking, that was until I got Oregon that is! Pumping your gas is typically a pretty simple ordeal. You get out, you pay, you pump the gas, you close it all up, and you leave...But in Oregon this happens with onlookers in complete shock.
We got to a gas station and I got out and started to pump my diesel and I looked over and everyone is in their cars staring at me, some with open mouths! Haha! The gas attendant walks over to me and asks, "You good man?" and I replied, "With what?... Oh! I forgot people are lazy or scared and can't pump their own gas here!" He laughed and agreed that people were lazy and mentioned he normally let diesel trucks take care of it, which I must say, as a diesel owner, the thought of someone else putting regular gas in my tank is always terrifying! Who wants to take that kind of risk?
Not to mention how this creates a ridiculous dependency completely caused by the nanny state! Yes it creates jobs, but a very unnecessary one and at the barrel of a gun. Now I am all for gas stations having attendants and paying them to help when needed and requested, but when you penalize people for wanting to pump their own gas, that is when you have gone too far. And at my next gas station visit, the attendant told me it was agaisnt the law in that county to pump my own gas. That's right, ILLEGAL to pump my own gas!! Just ridiculous, there is no other word for it.
So look, the states are just lines, but when you cross the invisible lines of Oregon, be prepared to have to sit back and wait to be helped! Which as an Independent person, I cannot stand and as a diesel owner, I fear!
We don’t need government.
I can’t wait for a future where they become irrelevant to the economy.

Oregon doesn't want to pump their own gas.
the oregon governor said that she would NOT send the oregon national guard to the border to help defend the US either.
what else does oregon want someone else to do for them?

Sad about the gas situation, for certain.
On the upside we have open carry and legal weed. Plus we have the Fighting Ducks! 😉🦆🐿🦆🐿🦆🐿

Always nice to see that I've got one problem less by just walking everywhere :).
Walking is simple, but it works.
