If by huge you mean most of everyone we personally know then yes, otherwise: no, it won't. It is already happening to him, isn't it? There is some outrage, but hardly huge, not in terms of numbers... It's different times, unfortunately. I don't know what to blame, the globalization or the decadence of the western societies of their own, consumerism, or global narcissism perhaps... I know however that neither Trump, nor Obama (BTW), or Britain would be so keen to prosecute Assange if they didn't know for sure that their populi don't give a rat's tail. That's the key.

Its not worth it. Something happening to assange and the resulting outrage wouldn't be sufficient enough. What needs to happen is full prosecution of the war criminals that he has exposed for quite some time.
