The problem with both Parties in the US

in politics •  7 years ago  (edited)

There are some key issues oriented around hate that Republicans have always been unified around and Democrats tend to waiver between flimsily supporting and just joining republicans:

  1. Welfare. Democrats aren't united in anger fighting for welfare the same way Republicans are fighting against it.

  2. Abortion. Democrats aren't fighting against Anti-Abortionists with the same fervor that anti-constitutionalists are fighting against R v W.

  3. Wages. Democrats are afraid to talk about lifting up the bottom and demanding living wages for all Americans. I said higher living wages not minimum wage. That means for everyone on the bottom.

  4. Universal Healthcare. Lots of corporate Democrats are enjoying Monsanto and Humana kickbacks. Lots of Americans are drowning in Medical Debt with more than 60% of all bankruptcies being medical bills.

  5. War on Drugs. Democrats are afraid of supporting legalization of marijuana and ending the practice of Profit-Prisons. We also need to end the practice of funding city spending by using police to fish for small infractions with undercover stings on every street corner looking to play "Gotcha!" cards everywhere they can. Civil Extortions as a funding method is theft (unlike taxation, which is not theft).

Maybe the problem is that the whole lleft vs right didactic conversation is supposed to make you want government to solve the problems. You mentioned that taxation is not theft?

To me taxation is a false right given to people by a portion of people in a geographical area to enforce this false right on everyone in that geographical area. A right is anything that does not cause harm. Taxation causes harm because if you don't pay it you will be coerced into paying it and eventually kidnapped and put into a cell box.

I'm sure you'll agree that the goal is to reduce conflict among individuals on earth, so how do you believe taxation, and its implied force does more good than harm when the very action causes harm itself?

Voluntary taxes and 100% agreed upon rules are ok but when people don't ask for it then it is an action against their autonomy.

I think the burden of proof is on the one who wants some people to take money away from everyone.
