We Miss Peace of the World

in politics •  7 years ago  (edited)

War, war, and war are the most familiar words in our ears today. Only a small part of the country without war in the 21st century. The ultimate war is in the Middle East. Many powerful nations come there to fight, there is hardly peace there and how many hundreds of thousands of people are stranded.

Three important figures in the Middle East war are Russian President Vladimir Putin, Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, and United States President Donald Trump. The rebel group wants to topple Assad and backed the United States and its allies. While Assad's regime is lined with iron by Russia and allies.

Though the Middle East is just a pause from the turmoil of the Arab Spiring revolution (2010-2011), starting in Tunisia, Egypt, Libya, Algeria, and Yemen. A total of five presidents stepped down. More severe in Libya until the war broke out between the government with the rebels and supported by the Foreigners.

Well now than in Syria, see the land without peace ie Palestine how long it has been war there. Then look at the war in Yemen between Saudi Arabia and the rebels, see Iraq with the rebels. Where is peace there and when it will be knit.

Outside the Middle East, look to Southeast Asia precisely in Myanmar. How the suffering of the Rohingya people to flee the world, such as to Bangladesh, Malaysia, Australia and Indonesia precisely to Aceh at the tip of Sumatra Island.

In East Asia, how does the DPRK (North Korea) politics with its nuclear program shock the world. War of rhetoric between the DPRK with the United States, the Republic of Korea and Japan every day is still happening today.

How is the territorial conflict in the South China Sea between China and Southeast Asian countries including Indonesia. This is not to mention the conflicts in Afghanistan and some African countries.

I want to convey, the key to world peace is in the hands of leaders of major countries, especially the state of the veto in the United Nations, the United States, Russia, China, Britain and France.

Most importantly in the hands of President Donald Trump and President Vladimir Putin as the two leaders of the world's giants. We ask for peace in this world without economic, political, and power interests. We miss peace.

I once read tiori from Alford Machinder (19th century) as written in The Geopolitics of Superpower by Colin S. Gray. Machinder gives the real cue of Central Asia and the Middle East is the heartland or world island. But he did warn that whoever became the heartland power under modern political and economic condition could make plausible bid for a global imperium.

Is this what is happening right now. It is unfortunate that modern humans should have economic, political, and power interests at the back of the war. May peace come fast.

Kami Rindu Perdamaian Dunia

Kami rindu damai.

Kami rindu semuanya. Hahaha.... Kalau aman enak cari uang.

A war is always someone’s financial interest. While there is a war somewhere, someone earns money
