Until we learn to separate fact from fiction for ourselves — without the intermediary of somebody else telling us what this is or what that is, we are pretty much fukt.
Until we extend the reach of our own personal responsibility, we will never know what we think, because we’ll never be confident enough to take a position and to own a thought — even one which may later prove itself wrong.
If we don’t take the chance though, it will be totally debilitating … and stop us dead in our tracks from ever arriving at a calm place of wisdom or truth for ourselves.
This recent clot movie was a perfect test of our ability to set our own parameters … independently of others and independently of labels … and sadly, on that score, far too many folks look to have soundly failed that test.
And when it comes to what we know and what we don’t know, we should always try to stay humble.
Do you not see how a word like “controlled opposition“ — once it escapes from our personal conversations, where WE control the context … and instead enters the larger media landscape, that it instantly — and I mean instantly, begins to serve the exact same function as the word “conspiracy theorist?”
In this way, it becomes a “weaponized” term - which offers an easy way to debunk, defame by way of destroying your own earlier meaning of the term… so that now it can no longer be properly grasped in context.
Now it’s just a steppin’ razor that any fool can pick up and use in any sort of swashbuckling accusatory way they like.
Have a lovely day!
