Craig Roberts on RT : Russian government is responsible for the current situation in SyriasteemCreated with Sketch.

After the shooting of the Syrian airplane by the Americans, Russia has declared a no-fly zone West of the Euphrates river.

Craig Roberts says the Russians are responsible for inviting this kind of intervention of the Americans, because they wanted to try to find an agreement with the Americans to fight terrorism together, in an attempt to overcome the hostility against Russia. Each time they were on the verge of finishing their initiatives in Syria they stopped and waited for the Americans to fight together. (Remember the progress in Latakia that suddenly stopped, or Aleppo etc.)

Craig Roberts says this was a big strategic mistake on the part of the Russians as the Americans used terrorism to overthrow Assad, and so cooperation with the Americans to fight terrorism is in fact impossible. (The American military-industrial complex has 1.1 trillion usd interests to defend)

Here is part of the interview I could find :

I think what Russia have done opposing the NWO Is excellent, they are defending sovereignty and freedom.

@pagandance yes indeed , i just hope the uk dont get dragged in to it

It seems the Australians have stopped their cooperation, but the UK says it will go on with it's operations in Syria.

i predict a riot lol not good

It is not new that Russia and the United States fight in Africa by faction interposed for the petrol

Big difference is now that both Americans AND Russians have troops on the ground and airplanes in the Syrian skies. If the Americans decide to challenge the Russians, the Russians will have to down an American plane if they don't want to lose their credibility. So Craig Roberts says.
Indeed a very dangerous situation not seen since the Cuban crisis in the sixties.

This was an interesting perspective and I'm going to try to find the whole interview (assuming there's more). I fear that, as usual, neither Russia nor the United States cares at all for what happens to Syria or it's people. From my perspective it seems the petro-dollar controls all foreign policy on my governments part while resistance to it plays the largest role in Russia's foreign policy. I'm by no means a proper political (geo or otherwise) analyst but I fear that whatever happens the Syrian people (the ones who just want to live their lives in peace) will be the biggest losers in this.

The war in Syria and Iraq against "ISIS" is almost completely over. Only here and there a few pockets left.
But America seems intent on starting the Syrian civil war 2.0. They already are setting up bases in Syria in Lake Assad near Tabqa dam and near the border with Iraq. Hoping so with help of the 'FREE' Syrian Army and Syrian 'DEMOCRATIC' forces to split up the country so that it can pose no threat to Israel. But when Iraq and Iran and Russia and maybe even China are getting caught up in all this mess, It looks more and more like there's a new Vietnam or greater war in the making.
