The Problem

All of us here know this story. We all understand how it works. From the puppets called politicians to the worthless paper referred to as money, we just get it. We understand how it works. We see the debt and the system at large for the shackles that they are. The more our consciousness and understanding evolves the more we see. The more we come to see the more that was once hidden comes into view. The more that comes into view the more we distance ourselves from those that cannot see the shackles for what they are. And there it is. We arrive at the problem.

In forums such as this we pat each other on the back for our relatively unique ability to see reality for what it is in actuality. We are special. We deserve the congratulations, for we have ignored the insights offered by the cliché that ‘Ignorance is Bliss’. I don’t know about you, but I can’t even enjoy a soda anymore without shuddering at the beverage’s lethal ingredients. Everywhere I look I perceive a situation as being as far from utopia as possible. Sure, it could be worse. It can always be worse. But that is not why we are here. We are here because we know, not believe, but know that it could be better. We know this because we can see the problems for what they are. Which is better? Being able to have your senses appeased by the mainstream media, or having no choice but seeking refuge in books and the relatively few enlightened? Would you prefer to eat cake or organic carrots? I don’t know about you, but I’m addicted to the carrots. The understandings and insights that have transformed my friends and neighbors into strangers. And there it is. We arrive at the problem.

But of course, we know the answer don’t we? We all have discovered the solution. We all know what we need to do. But, we just can’t agree now can we? He says anarchy. She says the solution will be found in technology. He says revolution. She says voting in third parties. He says spreading truth through alternative media. She says non-participation. And so it goes. He said. She said. As we continue to bicker and argue the masses continue to grow increasingly addicted to their cake. So it goes. Our noticeable numbers become divided and subdivided because a consensus can’t be found. All of our solutions are right, but all of them are also wrong . . . because the solution to this massive dilemma is multi-faceted. And there it is. We arrive at the problem.

The only thing that gives me comfort is You. When I go out into public all I see are the un-awakened. As I walk past them I hear conversations that sheep would have if they could speak. Such things use to upset me, but I’ve pushed that pain away with the rationalization that some prefer slavery. However, there are the many people that proceed through the normal routine, but all the while feeling deep down in their core that something is seriously wrong. They can feel the illusive truths, even if they cannot yet see them as you do. These are the people that give me hope, because they outnumber us. They are the many that would join us if they only had the time and the nurturing nudge from one of us. But, it is you that gives me comfort. For you have already taken the plunge. You’ve thrown that delicious cake in the garbage and elected a life of enlightenment. You are strong, brilliant in your own way, and courageous. I thank you. No doubt you have felt the pangs that come with Understanding. You probably even handle it better than I do. Still, you persist. Why? I imagine it’s because you haven’t given up. Your understanding of reality continuously evolves toward truth. It is only a matter of time before you unite with enough of others like you. You and environments such as Steemit make it possible for a successful and comprehensive solution to be brought into fruition. Ultimately, the possibility that the shackles will be revealed to everyone for what they are is only here because of you. It is because of you that I continue to have faith.

Am I wrong?

Why is it that you persist?
