It's the perfect example of people rejecting real moral values and sticking by them in favor of picking a team and doing whatever needs to be done to win.
Republicans like Rand Paul or (formally) Justin Amash aren't the same as Donald Trump. Even if you think that Trump was literally Hitler, there should be no guilt by party association. Hell, Schindler was a member of the Nazi party and he opposed Hitler better than most leftists.
Democrats like Tulsi Gabbard and Andrew Yang are different from manic Democrats like Kamala Harris and Bernie Sanders. It's not hard for me to say that I was ready to vote for Tulsi Gabbard in the primary before she dropped out while also saying that Kamala Harris is a garbage human being. I'm judging the people, not the party.
Just stop it with this rhetoric that membership of one party rather than another is necessarily deplorable.
