Also I don't want to make the error of overextrapolating the Times interviews, but it was interesting how so many of the individuals basically had forgotten about all the terrible things Trump said. It reinforces my thinking that Trump's been able to avoid public scrutiny for now and something that might change when we get to the general election.

It’s flabbergastingly jarring that something like the Cares Act, in a time of a once in a century pandemic, with policy enforced closures of travel, service and hospitality related business, which had unanimous bipartisan support is framed as “Trump helped countless Black people”. The same guy who wanted to send in the military to “dominate the streets” during the George Floyd protests. Again, this was just over a little more than 3 years ago…
