I kept saying he was the Ben Carson of this cycle. The thing with these dudes is eventually things catch up with them. He's deeply obnoxious. Say what you will about Trump, but he knows how to work a crowd. That crowd unfortunately just happens to be full of Nazis.
Haley is now solidly the third place candidate.
No one is seriously challenging Trump here though. He's polling near the 60s. Most Trump supporters say they are locked into him at this point too. So he's going to coast to the nomination.
I saw people worried about Ramaswamy for the future. But no, after the first debate his favourability tanked. And he's never really recovered since then. He's been on a deep slide the last two months. People just don't like him.
And this isn't remotely like 2016. Hard to think of a Republican candidate polling this well this early and with so many voters locked in. This is going to be a coronation instead of a primary. 2016 was far more competitive this far out in the polling. Trump's polling didn't even reach where he is now until the end of the 2016 primary when he had won the nomination.
