Political truth

The men and women we perceive to be in "power" politically, are in fact front people for financial institutions and corporations, we believe that we have a choice when we vote but alas we are voting for shadows. We are in the grip of the cult pf personality, believing that one side will be better than the other based on their promises which never really mean anything. Obama promised many things but ultimately ended up not delivering very much for the people at all, he and his team kept all the wars going, added drone attacks into the mix and made America the most surveilled population on the planet and in the history of humanity. Trump promised many things as well and he is also not delivering in the way that he promised, sure a president is not all powerful but why should they be able to get away with lying to the public on a regular basis? why also should they be able to be involved in business dealings of any kind? they should be there for the people not corporations, banking interests and definitely not for their own financial gain. And yet here we are, with Donald trump as president of America, a man who is in fact a dismal businessman, so dismal in fact that he had to sell his name and appear in Mcdonald's and pizza hut advertisements and also become a reality TV Star. And in Australia we have Malcolm Turnbull at the helm, a man who is also a billionaire with his own merchant bank and countless business investments. These men are both actively engaged in the breakdown of the middle and lower classes of society and while they should be helping the vulnerable they are in fact taking more and more away from them. How is it fair that a man who makes less than fifty thousand dollars a year pays more tax in the dollar than a billionaire? the answer? it isnt fair.
