Politics stem from having a group of people which generally just suck at life. Then instead of reflecting individually about how and why they suck, and correcting that, they select things external to them as the reason why they suck, to transfer blame. The different political groups then form based on similar category of chosen external reason to blame for their sucking.
Right now the traditional "Left-Right" spectrum I see as really the spectrum of "Distance from self onto which blame is to be transferred for problems the self creates".
On the right side of the spectrum that distance is very far. If your far right you want to blame it on other countries, immigrants, foreign religions, everything far away from you in distance.
On the left side of that spectrum, that distance is very close. If you are far left you want to blame it on the corporation on the same street you live, or the corporations which you interact with regularly. Or you want to blame it on 'hidden unconscious evils' in people you interact with daily. Or the most prevalent religion closest to you.
In a way you could say the far left is going in a more correct direction than the far right, because the distance away from the self onto which blame is placed is shorter. But it needs to keep going so that the distance never goes beyond the bounds of ones own individual body.
