Obama's America- looking from the outside 'IN'.

Living in the Caribbean, you are constantly bombarded with massive amounts of propaganda from the mainstream media like CNN, Fox News & NBC on a variety of issues. I remember clear as day, during the 2008 US Presidential Campaign, when Mr. Barack Obama was first introduced to the audience on the Oprah Winfrey Show. Some celebrities like Jamie Foxx referred to him as their "Lord and Savior Barack Obama".

My attention heightened immediately by her use of words and the plaudits he received. It was like on every station you switched to had prominent individuals speaking highly of him. At that time, the campaign was already being keenly contested between Hillary Clinton and John McCain but she seemed to have quite an edge over him.

However, this did not prevent Mr. Obama from coming on the scene and wooing the crowds by answering multifaceted questions, communicating eloquently and exercising accuracy and exactness in his speech.

I recall the night of his Inauguration Speech as if it was only a few moments ago. I was in my living room looking at the TV as he repeated ‘Yes We Can’ several times relating it to the problems ongoing. But I felt the urge to keenly watch his choices and actions as the President during the next eight years. Would he act in the best interests of the US?

Fast-forward eight years onwards and the USA is no longer the same as it was when Mr. Obama first took office. He did exactly what he promised, ‘Change’. The country is now in moral decay. Its moral compass is broken and what was once seen as an inalienable right for individuals is now frowned upon, and what was once loathed is now seen as somewhat of value. It seems as if everything has been turned upside down.

Today, a Christian baker cannot refuse to provide service to an LGBTQ couple even if it violates that person’s belief system and stands the chance of being fined heavily, but a Muslim baker can do so and the media keeps silent about it.

A marine can no longer speak of his/her Christian values but a Muslim in the army can indoctrinate others and not be prosecuted or even pay a penalty for his beliefs. Certain words cannot be used by news media, and if used the journalist ends up being fired or suspended. Persons cannot express their views freely on air or else they are cut off.

A man can win the ‘Woman of the Year’ Award because he feels that he is living in the wrong body and be applauded by the President for his courage. Little girls have to be in the same bathroom with a boy who decides one day he is female and if schools stand against this, federal cuts are promised to be made.

Obama has made it pretty clear that America was no longer a Christian nation but a nation of many other religions. He has allowed for transgender individuals to be members of the military, he has been an apologist and sympathizer for Islam and has even given aid and credence to one of America’s chief enemies Iran, a country that cries death to Israel and the Western nations.

He has done everything to bring about ‘Change’ to the USA will his liberal ideology. He has been the most lawless, anti-constitution President the American people have ever seen, passing executive orders to bypass congress like a dictator. When we say ‘Change’, what exactly do we mean? Does it mean change for the better or for the worst? From the outside looking in, that change was no good - at least not for the loving and patriotic people of America!

Obama has almost doubled the economic debt he met in 2008 from $10.6 trillion to a whopping $19.3 trillion and increasing. It therefore means each taxpayer would have to pay in excess of $160,000.00 dollars which may seem like forever in the eyes of many.

Now he is actively pushing to allow the UN to have more authority over the sovereign affairs of the USA while at the same time he is applying for the UN Secretary General post where he will still be meddling in the affairs of the nation if appointed. By the time he leaves office, the country he met will be very different in terms of its culture, beliefs and morals.

When this generation glance back through history and ask what happened to the country their forefathers fought for, President Obama’s fingerprints will be all over it, Guilty as charged!

I pray that the Almighty God does not fully take away his provisions from such a great country but the rate at which it is declining, it looks irreparable. The country which once stood on the strong Christian principles is no longer holding true to those values.

I love the USA I must confess. A country so rich in history and diversity and a champion for the Free World is simply awe-inspiring. America was well-known for the justice it brought about for other countries, but this gradually began changing decades before Mr. Obama’s entry to the White House.

For the nation to see any progress again it must return to God who has blessed it lavishly with such great wealth and honour. IN GOD WE TRUST!!!
