Obama's Watergate? Tell Congress to release the FISA memo - AFA ActionAlert

Christians hold dear America's fundamental liberties, such as the freedom of religious expression. This freedom allows us to advance the gospel without fear of government intrusion. However, this liberty is only as secure when our government officials maintain fidelity to the constitutional republic of the United States.

As egregious as the nefarious acts of the Richard Nixon administration may have been regarding Watergate, what has been recently reported by members of Congress concerning the Obama administration might be even worse.

High ranking government officials have reported that a classified, four-page memo, dubbed the "FISA memo" (Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act), has been made available to every member of the U.S. House of Representatives. This memo highlights extensive and abusive surveillance on American citizens by federal government agencies. The classified memo is also reported to contain details of collusion between government agencies, including the DOJ and FBI, and the Hillary Clinton political campaign against President Donald Trump, both prior to and following the presidential election.

Americans deserve to know to what extent U.S. agencies and elected officials have abused their power and illegally and unjustly conducted surveillance on its own citizens.

Chairmen of the House Freedom Caucus, Congressman Mark Meadows (R-NC), said, "Part of me wishes that I didn't read it because I don't want to believe that those kinds of things could be happening in this country that I call home and love so much." Congressman Ron DeSantis (R-FL) tweeted yesterday that the memo "raises serious questions about the upper echelon of the Obama DOJ and Comey FBI as it relates to the so-called collusion investigation."
