Why a European army is a bad Idea in my perspective.

Today I was reading the news again.
And reading on how german officials say a European army is inevitable
And how they call for the creation of such an army.

In my eyes this has only two reall pro's

1: being Europe would become militarily more close to a super state.
And would be able to defend themselves against bigger enemies.

2: It might be more cost effective logistic wise.

There might be a few more pro's, but not any that I can come up with at this moment that I'm writing this.

But the reasons why I think it is bad, outweighs the reasons why it's good in my point of view.

If we create a European army, that would mean all military power would be consolidated by europe. And as of that moment all memberstates will instantly lose all of their sovereignity. All power will be centralized and the country's themselves will be nothing but provinces in the new European empire. It is a historical fact that those who have power over the army control the rest. Just remember what happened when Julius Ceasar managed to get control over an army or all the military coups that
have happened world wide in the past century. Consolodating power like that would be one giant coup of all nations that are part of the union.

A European army is ripe for abuse. The European leader/ Commander could use his army to blackmail member states into submission. And they could also more easily bully neighboring states that don't fall in line. Member states will be able to exert less influence in Europe. The group of people that will be in control of that army will be in control of everything.
Since there's also a lack of democracy in Europe it will instantly be a full oligarchi.

Europe is already trying to force its laws on other country's
They try to make hungary, Poland and Czech take more refugees even if they don't want to
and else they have to start paying fines.
Imagine if there was a single european army. I think this would be far worse.
It feels more like we are going to what we could call the 4th reich here.

I also suspect that they are going to crush down on any type of nationalism when they can.
Germany is already planning to make european censorship laws anyway.
If europe centralizes all its power under its current leaders, then I do know one thing.
It will not be a free democratic society, but rather a authoritarian oligarchic police state
run by power addictive self destructive dictators.

And I am not even anti european union.
Just against what they are planning to do with it.
A part of me even thinks a European army is a really cool idea.
But thats just what it is, a cool idea, not a good idea.
