Amber Rudd resigns, but should it be May?

I find it strange how Theresa may bought in the immigration act that caused commonwealth residents , like those involved in the “Windrush” scandal presently, yet Amber Rudd is taking responsibility for actions taken by the Prime Minister.

It is scary how our attitudes have changed towards the men and women that have helped build this country, but far more terrifying how the present government is legislating in a way that promotes that change in attitude.

I hope this far right, isolationist approach slows over the coming years because the rest of the world is embracing globalisation and the value of other humans, not based on their skin colour or religion.

Maybe the new home security will change things, maybe he will empathise with these people. I hope so. We should be ashamed of what we have done regarding immigration in the past two years.
