In every society, there is bound to be resistance and some who feel they are being oppressed. This feeling is not always immediate. Most times, the people who call themselves the resistance must have experienced hardship or sone levels of oppressions from those in the government.
So these people believe their only tool to make the government know their grievances is via violence. They form groups solely to frustrate the government so that their single voice can be head.
In most cases, these people go extreme in making sure their demands are met. They kill their captives sometimes to make a 'statement' and as a way to make people fear them.
I ask 'who should we blame for every life destroyed by these rebels'? The rebels or the government who is 'responsible' for their emergence?
Who are rebels or what does it mean to rebel against anything?
Rebellion is a refusal of obedience or order. It refers to the open resistance against the orders of an established authority.
The rebel is the individual that partakes in rebellion or rebellious activities, particularly when armed. Thus, the term rebellion also refers to the ensemble of rebels in a state of revolt. Source
For whatever they stand for and whatever they choose to protect, taking of human lives in the process is inhuman and should be condemned in totality.
But we need to ask, would there have been anything rebel had the government listened to their cries? Would they have formed any resistance group had government listened to their humble and nonviolence protests?
Whichever ways we choose to look at it, we all have our shares of their actions and inactions. The government need to listen to people's demands to avoid this barbaric situation.
I don't see why there should be rebels in the 21st century just because the government they elected to watch over the affairs of the state chose to watch over the affairs of his own pocket.
The government should understand that there is a government because there are people to govern. So their continued relevance lies on our continuous existence as the governed.
We cannot continue to live in fear and kill fellow masses because of those we put in power. We need to set our priorities right and listen to the demands of the masses.

Will they ever listen to the demands of the masses? Even those we elected are rebels, I wonder if there would be an end to rebels in this country

I whould recomend listening through som of Larken Rose's videos as he presents some fo the core issues that have created the situation that generate the apparent need for rebelion. And from that it becomes logical that peacefull resistance by way of none obediance of authoritative dictates. obediance to authority is not cooperation. But for this to work it needs to be done in mass.
Who to blame? gouvernments and authoritys as they get into power by the attractiveness of power. And as the saying goes, power currupts.
This is in effect the same issue everywhere on earth today, thought it more directly in effect and thus more obvies in some places like nigeria and middel eastern countrys. And alot of it is orcastrated by western power houses. From what information i have come accros that is. Knowledge is key.
