Don't Let Liberals Tell You They Aren't for Open Borders

All I have heard since the last push before the mid-terms and since is Democrats on TV constantly saying they are not for open borders.  They say this as if prior actions didn't happen.  No matter how many of their "leaders" have called to abolish ICE or giving amnesty to every generation of illegal aliens they have been saying the same thing, "We are the not the party of open borders".  So, they think the American People will ignore what they do and believe what they say (the case can be made that they're right).

This was the Chair of the Democratic National Committee, Keith Ellison in May, 2018 wearing a shirt with the words, 'Yo No Creo En Fronteras' which translates to "I Don't Believe in Borders'.

So, I guess it's just the leadership of the party that believes in open borders.

Calls to Abolish ICE

If I were for open borders and knew there would be push-back I would want to implement my plan slowly and start with the border enforcement.  I don't know, maybe I would start with the group who arrests illegal immigrants for their crime.  Ahhh, now we are on to something.   

List of Democrat Senators, Congressmen and Mayors Calling for ICE Abolishment:

3. Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA)

7. Rep. Earl Blumenauer (D-OR)
8. Rep. Jim McGovern (D-MA)
9. Rep. Nydia Velázquez (D-NY)
10. Mayor Bill de Blasio (D-NY)

There have been other but these are the 10 who are most vocal and most insistent on the idea.  They are the ones who seem serious about it.  Of course, it's illogical but that's not what the call is about.

This is especially true on the left side of aisle.  If you can, next time you hear a call for radical change that has no basis in responsible policy, think about who it would hurt politically.  By "hurt politically" I mean whose ideas for policy would the call make look as though they failed.  

In this case, it's the immigration debate.  As soon as the MSM pushed out the narrative that arresting parents and children at the border and locking them up was bad (god forbid one gets caught and suffers the consequences) the Democrats siezed on the opportunity.  They called for abolishment of ICE and the most inept in critical thinking (i.e. average college students, many young people, middle aged lazy people and women with more than 5 cats who live alone) blindly jumped on board in protest after seeing well cared for kids locked up after their parents used them to break the law.  

Was it based on something real or imagined by the media and ranking Democrats?  If you said, "imagined" then you get a point!  It's made up outrage pure and simple.

It didn't take long for it all to go away from the forefront once it was seen as detrimental to the mid-term campaigns.  You also won't hear a lot of it in the next two years as Presidential Campaigns heat up.  But do not forget that these folks want to systematically delete the southern border.

I think it would be a fun little experiment if a Senate Republican would come out in favor of allowing Canadians to come down and be granted the right to vote.  The left in Canada is in a good place right now.  They have been triumphant is policing speech with enacting a Tribunal who can prosecute someone for using words they don't like.  They are happy to take in refugees from anywhere in the world.  It's a leftist utopia.  

So, the ones who would want to come down here would be folks fed up with a domineering government.  They would come down here and, given the right to vote would vote to the Right of the aisle.  Democrats would hate that!  All they want is the southern border open so that less educated people can be brainwashed into voting for them.

Having spent a lot of time in Mexico, the majority of the regular people are not familiar with a map of Mexico. This is not me being bigoted or racist but simply being truthful.  With that said, they take what they hear and go with it.  In fact, in many parts of Mexico, the vote is either paid for or gotten out of intimidation and the people there don't care about that.  They are kept down by the government, have been for years and don;t know any other way.  This is what Democrats want to seize on.

Mark my words, this is 100% a call for an open southern border.  If not checked in the next few years you'll see what I mean.
