France, Macron's popularity loses ten points in a month

The popularity of French President Emmanuel Macron collapses: Less than 10 points a month, from 64 to 54 percent, according to an Ifop poll for the Journal du Dimanche (Jdd).

In three months, Macron loses 8%. When it was elected in May, the consensus was 62%, then growing to 64% the following month.

Only Jacques Chirac had done worse in 1995 according to JDD. Nicolas Sarkozy, elected in May 2007 with an unprecedented popularity of 65%, had lived a 'state of grace' lasting all year and in August the consents had grown to 66%.
