According to Bloomberg and just about any other individual I've spoken to in my country, Jacob Zuma is in the process of capturing our state.

So why would I make such a BOLD claim ,you might ask? Well, if you had to read the news and information we receive on a daily basis you would more than likely be in agreement with my opinion.

I'm not going to ramble on about the state of our politics, corruption, state capture claims etc. I just felt that it's my duty as a law abiding citizen of this country to spread the word. There are some great authors and journalists out there that are doing a splendid job of keeping us informed in South Africa and beyond. I personally, would just like to share it right here with the Steemit community.

In brief:

State capture claims have been emanating across our country in leaps and bounds lately. The whispers have become roars from the crowds, across all races, religions and walks of life. Millions of South Africans have taken to the streets joined by various groups and political parties. All of which are calling for the same thing "Zuma Must Fall."

Many of you may have learnt that Zuma can't count (Trevor Noah informed many through The Daily Show) but do not underestimate him. He managed to overthrow his predecessor, ex President Thabo Mbeki. How he managed to do that I'm not too sure but I can only speculate.

I believe it could have been done by promises of infinite wealth at the cost of ordinary South Africans. How? Easy. He was already caught up in corruption charges so those around him knew that he was doing deals under the table. What did JZ (ref. Jacob Zuma) do? He built up an army of corruptible individuals to overthrow his predecessor and with those corruptible individuals he secured his seat as president of the country. What will follow is a mass collection of manipulable individuals collected through bribery and corruption at the expense of those who are trying to lead a just and fair country. Let me give you one example.

Pravin Gordhan

One of our countries most respected ministers of finance was axed by JZ due to some fabricated hogwosh claiming that he and his deputy, Mcebizi Jonas (during an international investor roadshow - London - aimed at promoting our country) were plotting to create instability within our government. SAY WHAT? JZ, "your" government is already unstable. The only stability you have is that you've surrounded yourself with crooks and thieves and have taken over institutions that ensure you sit like dingleberry!!! JZ previously tried to have Gordhan removed and cost our economy billions. The ZAR plummeted due to an internationally trusted individual (Gordhan) being replaced by an unknown Zuma crony. This is what he does. This is how he operates. He gets rid of the good and replaces them with the bad.

Let me tell you this as well. When our country was downgraded to Junk Status what did the people in the JZ faction say? Here are some headline quotes:

ANC studying the implications of the country’s credit rating downgrades - “We don’t have the full understanding of what the implications are at this stage." said the chairman of the party's subcomittee on ECONOMIC transformation. - source - Herald Live.

Ummm, what? You don't understand that you're going to be costing the economy billions. Our debts interest rate is going to increase, investors have already pulled the plug on certain projects, unemployment will increase (it has already under JZ's leadership), crime will increase etc etc etc. Unless you're telling me you are busy doing an in depth analysis... which will probably never come to light. There are analysts which have already done this btw so you can copy and paste their work. Perhaps that is a little to hard for you to do.

There is sooo much more but for now I'll leave you with these last quotes:

His allies want to change the mandate of South Africa’s respected central bank to have it focus on “the socioeconomic well-being of the citizens” rather than on stable prices. That's me on a more serious note. I truly hope something will change however the fact that Zuma has captured so many institutions and individuals (they can't "bail" out now because their hands are also covered in honey) make it seem very unlikely. I do hope that one day he will face the charges brought against him before he can jump ship and make his way to Dubai where billions have been stashed and the Gupta's have bought him a nice mansion (Gupta's - The number 1 business in the spotlight relating to state capture however this is likely only the tip of the iceberg)
