From Time to Time

I've finally earned something more valuable than gold. The ability to freely speak my mind on sensitive issues that would have been impossible for me to address before I retired. For most of my working career I have been unable to do so out of fear that the 'powers that be' would drop their economic hammer down on me (and my family). Now that I've secured a safe distance from those hammers I'm no longer shackled by 'the man'. This inability of the common working man to be able to speak his mind is no accident. It's been engineered into the American system. The union bashing and the oxymoronic "right to work" bullsquat has been used as a cudgel against the free speech rights of the oppressed masses. There's probably not one mainstream network news person who isn't already a part of the monied class and they have bosses swinging sticks over their heads as well. Of course they are beneficiaries of many of the oppressive policies they report on (or in the case of Fox news, fawn over).

Speaking of men, how about that idiot Trump? In all my years I've never seen a person (outside of the arrest scenes on COPS) feign innocence so poorly. It's patently obviously he conspired with the Russians in order to win the election. Whether it actually helped or not is moot. He was calling for their help from the stage of the Presidential debates ferchrissakes. Does he think we're all as brain dead, coked out or pussy blind as he is and that we won't remember?

Enjoy.
