The Divided States of America

I fear America may be headed toward another civil war, and if we don't put an end to the hate soon, it will be too late to right the ship. I know the elections has sparked an outrage in many people, but we have to remember that we are all in this together. We can not let politics, and media divide us, we cannot let our differences breed hate.

We have a voice, let's use that instead of fists and weapons, because violence and hate only brings violence and hate. We have to be civil in times like these, even when we're angry, we cannot give into that anger. We need to open our eyes and see what's really going on, we need to stop listening to the media, and politician, and start listening to one another. I know hearing the media say we're doomed if Trump is elected, or politicians saying Hillary is evil, seems like a warning, but it isn't, its all for ratings and a way to strike fear in us.

I'm worried about our future, not because of who will be our president in January, I'm worried because we're divided as a whole. I just hope that the democrats and republicans see this, and understand that they have to work together, but we have to put our differences aside and work together also. I'm happy to see so many people concerned about the future, but let's make the changes the right way. I know its difficult to do when all you hear is how evil, or unfit someone is who's getting ready to run our country, but its the same thing we've heard before, and we will hear it again in four year. I know leading up to the election Trump said many things that were awful, but it appears since winning his tune has changed. Is it just for show? Maybe, but we cannot let it divide us, one person cannot destroy us, but hatred toward one another can.
