Much of what has been exposed in recent years is still constantly under dispute by a corporate media seemingly devoid of any remaining journalistic integrity. This is happening despite no grounds on which to dispute it, and no evidence to support their stance. It is simply, "this is fake, because it's not what we want you to think."
There is a very good reason this is taking place--even as this obviously biased stance continues to dismantle whatever confidence the people still held in the mainstream media--and that is the fact that these revelations are beginning to expose the US' darkest secret: They are the very thing in which they claim to be fighting.
Now to be clear, the term "they" gets throw around a lot, and not always referring to the same group or entity. One could use the darkly humorous acronym of "The Hierarchy Enslaving You." Yet, in a general sense, that term in most cases refers to the Deep State, or the Shadow Government, both of which refer to a the idea of a secret cabal of powerful individuals who essentially run the country, and some say the world. As "outside-the-box" as that may sound to some, it is important to understand that many people throughout US history have spoken out warning about this entity, even US presidents. That being said, it is also very important to understand that there are those within the government currently fighting to achieve the very same ends as the alternative media, which is full awareness of government action, as was originally meant to be the case, and individual freedom for all.
So when it is said that 'They are the very thing in which they claim to be fighting,' that refers to those morally lacking string-pullers within that shadowy group that we know exists, yet don't fully understand. It is very important to understand that this stance is not anti-America or un-American; it is in fact quintessentially American to question the actions of the government, especially when that government has been hijacked.
The above statement is exposing the usurpers of the American dream, if that dream was ever truly allowed to be realized. We have talked in the past about the creation of this country, and how there were those within that very room who had ambitions to create an elitist run federal government that would have ultimate control, and it would seem they have succeeded. This distinction is very important, as it is entirely possible to be completely opposed to the current governmental direction, while deeply believing in this country and what it could be with the right leadership and moral guidance. The reason this is so important, is the fact that those whose agenda we are attempting to expose will seek to name any resistance to the mainstream talking points as un-American, as recent history clearly shows; even when that supposed "un-American" stance is later revealed to be correct.
In this episode of TLAV Political Roundtable we are discussing how the US is being exposed as part of the problem, both in Syria and elsewhere with its damaging foreign policy, and at home with its oppressive legislation that does not represent the will of the people.
As always, we advocate that everyone take charge of their own political education and actively do their own research and investigation. The power to enact change is meant to be in the hands of the people, but unless we begin paying attention, asking questions and getting involved, this country will remain the same at best, and at worst, further fall into the hands of those who care not for the people, but only for their own ambition.
