The Truth About Surveillance

in politics •  7 years ago  (edited)

NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden's revelations regarding the NSA spying on it's citizens around half a decade ago should have had sparked intense outrage from the masses yet the response from the masses were extremely underwhelming and apathetic. If the public were so apathetic to such things half a decade ago, and the people who were watching us were aware of how apathetic they were, that raises many questions. For how long has the masses been docile and apathetic to being watched 24/7 through surveillance cameras and monitored on Facebook by the NSA?And for how long has the masses have been under surveillance?

I believe most people are content to be sheep. Maybe some of them woke up one morning and realized, (wtf) am I doing...I am just a slave working for the <1% wealthy families on this freaking planet. And then the next morning, after taking the the other pill, wake up in the fields with the other sheep content and stupid.
