Good news about polarisation

in politics •  3 years ago

Finally all countries -nearly all countries- have something in common. It's no longer a fight to be accepted, respected since discrimination is allowed. The mainstream media does it, ministers, governments do and the mass follows the 'good' example given by those who preach the 'truth'. That's how it always has been.
The world is divided into a war. Not on the way to a fight, not preparing for a battle but in the middle of it. It won't get any better, not in the next years. We will stay in a crisis for reasons that will be found. It won't be normal again. Normal is an illusion, just a word. Normal is what you are used to. Normal is lockdowns for everyone today, lockdowns, facemasks, eating and drinking too much. Normal is a lack of exercise, being depressed, a life without social contact. Normal is home alone, shopping online, taking care of your own children. Normal is without daycare, swimming lessons, festivals, cinema, family and friends. Normal is sleeping more than you ever did in your entire life. It's normal to wonder how if you can cut your throat easily with the kitchen knife. It's normal to wait 6 months to see a doctor who consults you online but normally gives much more time. Without a job you can do as you like, bullies are past and it's no longer a problem to breastfeed your baby.
The normal talked about is lost about 50 years ago. Many cannot even remember those days.

The signs -all those disasters- proven enough, should have warned us but didn't. What doesn't affect us doesn't hurt, no need to be alert. If you stick to that rule life is easier but it also means you are always late. You are always running behind -the facts- and missed your chance to do something. The 'good news' is you are not the only one. Making mistakes is part of humanity, men learn from it. Interesting statements and we all know it isn't true. People do not learn from history. Normal today is fear, divide, finding a scapegoat and starting the witch hunt. We've been there not once but many times before. We fought wars with and against each other. We became alleys and betrayed them.
It's good to belong to the 'good people'. Those who obey, mislead and trait others preferable anonymous. It feels good to find a higher goal even if it's not your own. Since you are weak you admire the 'strong leader', the sadist like each masochist would. A fight for a better world might cost some lives but these lives aren't so important. It doesn't concern you, it isn't your responsibility, they could have done the right thing just like you.

The question is if dictatorship can be fought since they are from all ages. The dictator comes in all shapes. Just like the narcissist. He might look different to you, his tools are, the coat is but each dictator works in exactly the same way.
They buy people to do their dirty job, spread fear, manipulate, and do not care. Dictators are sadists, sociopaths, liars. They do not bring hope but take it away. That promised treat for good behaviour will never end up in your mouth, you are not even allowed to touch it. Good for you, you have imagination. You can fantasise about how it will be. How it tastes, how you wasted, threw away all those sweet things too normal for you. While fantasising you can ask yourself too why you keep pace.

The positive aspects of the world we are living in are:

  • We all die.
There's no need to hang in, suffer forever. A dictator will not live forever, those big mouths won't live forever, traitors die, sociopaths die, employers die, no vaccine will rescue any of them (that's why they didn't take the shot and why they will live longer).
  • Each virus wants to survive.
Without humans, animal life it can't. This means viruses will not kill us all (vaccines do kill you but on the other hand why care if 117 dead children can make a vulnerable child live longer?).
  • Wars end.
Humankind survived many wars. Some took 80 years or longer but they ended. Humankind survived and the world's population was never so high. If you see it from a wider perspective we'll never die. Atom bombs, aeroplanes, terrorism, bioweapons or psychological war, humans survive. Not each one of you but keep in mind this is how it always has been. We all die.
  • New societies arise.
Birds of a feather flock together. The mass does and the scapegoats are. It's a good thing to live among those who are close to you. Close if it comes to the same ideas, level of creativity, goals. It's definitely positive to shut out those who spread negative energy. If emotions control you the end is near and you are not good company. Imagine how good life will be if there's no negativity. If those who live in fear no longer need to be afraid of their family, friends, neighbours, colleagues, strangers who might infect them. Imagine what the world would look like if the polarized world was that simple to end. Own shops, churches, festivals for those being shot and the opposite. Own economy, different lifestyles but in perfect harmony. We just need to build a wall and review which community is the happiest and therefore the richest. It's not always about health, who lives the longest but about celebrating life.
