Donald Trump: A nomination for the Nobel Peace Prize is on the way?

Well... For the moment, this is just speculation that has been going around the congress. However, it is possible to become something real (at least that is what the Republicans who support it believe).

Donald Trump's work on the reconciliation between South and North Korea is the justification found by a group of Republican congressmen to ask for nomination from the current US president to the 2019 Nobel Peace Prize.

According to information from the Associated Press, a letter was sent, suggesting Trump's nomination, to members on the Nobel Committee last Wednesday, 2. The text is authored by Representative Luke Messer and was signed by 17 Republicans.

I don't know about you, folks... For me, that sounds like a very bad joke (something very similar to his victory in the race for the United States presidency), but... unfortunately, there are supporters for all kinds of people.
