Trump and Macron: Man Boy Love

French President Emmanuel Macron recently visited the US in President Trump’s first official state dinner. And plenty was made about how “handsy” the two were. And if you haven’t seen the photos, then you might think that is an exaggeration, but seriously, it was adorable.

They truly got along.

Is that enough for you?

But here’s what I find interesting: Macron is nothing like the “yes-men” that Trump normally surrounds himself with, and CERTAINLY not of the ilk to toe any kind of party line and placate him and his policies.

Hell, Macron, literally stood up in front of Congress and PREACHED the kind of forward thinking leadership that this country so desperately needs (and had not so long ago.) For example, he spoke of taking care of this planet, rejoining the Paris agreement and being responsible for our actions, as there is no “Planet B.”

He also spoke of “human rights, the rights of minorities and shared liberty [as] the true answers to the disorder of the world.”

I mean imagine you’re Trump and you’re sitting at home, with a cheeseburger in your lap, practically on the brink of starvation after sitting through that fancy-shmancy State Dinner and all of it’s fancy ass food, and there on your lovable idiot box you see your brand new crush talking some serious noise about your whole philosophy in front of the whole school. It’s either a betrayal and a major one at that. I mean how could he do that to you after all the intimate touch, private conversations and secret kisses in front of the media.

Or…

This Frenchmen is just “negging” the shit out of Trump. I mean is it really possible, that for the first time we finally see the kind of man Trump wants? Macron is affectionate, passionate, and not afraid of shit. He’s confident, attractive man’s man, with that delicious accent, and not only counters Trump at every turn, but knows exactly how to drive him wild with a flashy, gas-lighting song and dance in front of his friends and coworkers.

Was Trump leaving the Paris agreement in the first place, just the first flirt from a potential suitor? Was he just trying a boy, finding out his place in the world, trying to get the attention of an attractive man he fancies?

For all the minorities, disenfranchised, foreign and female victims of Trump’s policies in the last year, it’s almost a glaring oddity that there hasn’t been a more blatant attack on gay rights in this country… especially considering two things. One, a TON of movement for the LGBTQ community happened during the Obama administration (and you know how Trump feels about that), but secondly and maybe more importantly, it is widely known that VP Mike Pence is chomping at the bit to roll back the hard fought rights of those, quote end quote, deviants.

We know in most situations the phrase “me thinks the lady doth protest too much” is super sexist. But it’s also well applied in tons of situations. The loudest anti-gay frat boy is the most likely candidate to jump out the closet. The guy tells the most “your mama” jokes probably spoon feeds his mother right out of his mouth each night. And the guy surrounding himself with so many “yes men” running around the “locker room” bragging about “grabbing pussy” might just be looking for that one cheek kissing, hand holding, gaslighting, foreigner, no-man to fly across the sea, grab his hand and win his heart.

Am I right?
